Dr. Cory Grathwol
Dr. Cory Grathwol grew up in Sandusky, Ohio: home of Cedar Point and yes, he had season passes every year. He comes from a large Irish and German family who predominantly all live in Ohio, but he and Dr. Nicole make a point of seeing them often.
He attended the Ohio State University before moving to Illinois where he obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. Unlike many dentists, he never dreamed of becoming a dentist. Growing up, Dr. Cory told his parents he wanted to be a vet. During dental school, Dr. Cory was finding himself spending the majority of his free time in the pediatric dental clinic. He decided pediatric dentistry was his passion and the rest is history. He went on to obtain his specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry from Case Western Reserve University/Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.

- He is a die hard Ohio sports fan, and couldn’t be more proud of the turnaround of the Cleveland Browns. (Yes, he probably just jinxed them).
- He was involved in 4H as a child and competitively showed pigs at the local and state fair for 9 years.
- He is the oldest of four, and has three younger sisters. This will hopefully prepare him for his first child with Dr. Nicole, also a girl!
- Loves spending his summers on Lake Erie and will stop at nothing to spend as many summer days as possible on the water.
